Nuestros libros en ebook y nuestra relación comercial con Bookwire España

Estamos actualmente preparando la digitalización de un tercio de nuestro catálogo, que se ofrecerá en epub hasta finales de año, por medio de la distribuidora alemana Bookwire. Nosotros, hasta ahora, hemos digitalizado 15 libros, en epub y mobi, pero creemos que nuestro catálogo se merece romper fronteras y estar accesible en todas partes. A finales de año tendremos disponibles cerca de 70 títulos.

Al igual que con los libros en papel, nuestros ebooks se comercializan a través de distribuidora. Este es el caso de Bookwire, con sede en Frankfurt y delegación en España, distribuidora que está especializada en la mediación con las grandes cadenas y librerías con córner digital en el mundo, especialmente en Latinoamérica y Estados Unidos. Nosotros estamos muy contentos con nuestra relación con Bookwire y vamos a profundizarla porque somos conscientes de que un fondo notable en cuanto a títulos se retroalimenta.

El proceso que se sigue es sencillo. Bookwire digitaliza nuestros libros (con unos altos parámetros de calidad que hacen que puedan ser expuestos por las tiendas online de las librerías y en la oferta de las bibliotecas y plataformas de lectores). Una vez subido a la plataforma de Bookwire podemos ver nuestros libros ofrecidos en plataformas de todo el mundo, lo cual nos asombra por su inmediatez. Es un proceso casi automático. El lector solo tiene que relacionarse con su tienda habitual, bien físicamente, bien online, para descargarse un ejemplar, siempre a precios muy económicos.

We are currently preparing to digitize a third of our catalog, which will be offered on epub until the end of the year, through the German distributor Bookwire. We, until now, have digitized 15 books, in epub and mobi, but we believe that our catalog deserves to cross borders and be accessible everywhere. At the end of the year we will have about 70 titles available.

As with paper books, our ebooks are marketed through a distributor. This is the case of Bookwire, with headquarters in Frankfurt and a delegation in Spain, a distributor that specializes in mediation with digital corner libraries in the world, especially in LatAm and the United States. We are very happy with our relationship with Bookwire and we are going to deepen it because we are aware that a notable fund regarding titles is being fed back.

The process that is followed is simple. Bookwire digitizes our books (with high quality parameters that allow them to be exhibited by online bookstore stores and in the offer of libraries and reader platforms). Once uploaded to the Bookwire platform we can see our books offered on platforms around the world, which amazes us for its immediacy. It is an almost automatic process. The reader only has to contact her usual store, either physically or online, to download a copy, always at very affordable prices.
